Ginger and Garlic Seafood Marinade
This exciting marinade combines the fragrant and pungent flavors of fresh grated ginger and crushed cloves of garlic for marinating fresh seafood for baking, broiling or charcoal grilling. This exceptional recipe is shown below:
Ingredients:
4-5 Fish Steaks (Halibut, Shark or Swordfish)
1/3 Cup Soy Sauce
2-3 Juice of Lemons
¼ Cup Vegetable Oil
¼ Tsp. Salt
2 Tablespoons Sugar
1 Teaspoon Fresh Grated Ginger (or 1 tsp. ground)
1 Clove of Fresh Garlic (Crushed)
Blend thoroughly all ingredients except the fish in a mixing bowl or baking pan. Add seafood steaks (or shrimp or scallops) and marinate a maximum of 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Overnight would be great as well.
For the outdoor grill, use remaining marinade as a baste. To bake in the oven, place in a baking pan with all the marinade and bake at 350' to: 35-40 minutes or until steaks flake easily with a fork.
